FROM EMILY: I’m not sure what I was hoping to gain by visiting the locations all ahead of time. I think I wanted to see what I was getting myself into… sometimes literally. I think if I had known ahead of time that I was supposed to be shooting at a landfill and didn’t check it out, I’d have been really stressed out the day of. Fortunately, there was an artistic reason for shooting at each of the locations; Frank wasn’t simply trying to torture me!
